Tryva’s Processing of Personal Data 

We want you, who use Tryva’s services, to feel safe with how we process your personal data. United Eyes AB, org. no. 556984-9481 (also referred to as ”United Eyes”, ”we”, ”us” or ”our”), is the data controller for the processing of personal data that takes place in Tryva’s operations, and we work actively to ensure high integrity and user-friendliness for our services or products.

In this privacy policy you will find information about how we process your personal data linked to the Tryva brand. The business includes, among other things, the Tryva system and the use of this system in the Tryva App (“the App”).

Definition of Processing of Personal Data

Personal data is any kind of information that can directly or indirectly identify you personally. This may include names, email addresses or social security numbers. Even IP addresses or chat history can constitute personal data if they can be attributed to you personally.

Processing of personal data takes place when someone takes an action regarding personal data, e.g., collection, registration, transfer, or deletion.

Purpose: Administer use of the system and the App

Processing activities

Processing to create and administer user accounts and give you access to the App’s interface and functions. Also processing of device, log, and program version.

Lastly to evaluate use in violation of terms of use and to decide on suspension from the service.

First and last name, email, profile picture (optional), mobile number (optional)

Until you request removal, or your user account is terminated.

Notifications are sent to affected users in connection with the detected danger.

United Eyes considers that we have a legitimate interest in processing your personal data linked to the service for the purpose of performing data analysis, product development and product testing. Anonymized user history can be shared with external parties to, for example, report on trends in the service.

How We Collect Your Personal Data

We receive information about your apartment number from your property owner. Furthermore, you fill in your contact details yourself when you join the use of the App. Collection also takes place in connection with your use of the App, including through your chat history and possible use of location services. Processing of Social Security Number 

We only process social security numbers when it appears to be clearly justified in terms of the purpose, necessary for secure identification or if there is some other legitimate reason.

Recipients of Personal Data and Location for Processing Activities 

United Eyes may share your personal data with your property owner. Information about your positioning is shared with other users in your vicinity to enable emergency response and emergency communication in connection with alarms. United Eyes has storage of collected data in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This means that your data is stored with high security on AWS servers in Frankfurt, i.e., within the EU/EEA.

In connection with an alarm, information may be sent to the emergency centre to call for rescue efforts.

Retention Period

We do not store your personal data longer than necessary for our respective purposes. See more detailed information on retention period under each purpose above.

How We Protect Your Personal Data 

We use technical and organizational measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and access to your personal data. We have taken special security measures to protect your personal data against unlawful or unauthorized processing (such as access, loss, destruction, or damage). Access to the data is limited to those who need to process the personal data for their work tasks. We continuously evaluate our systems and routines as well as policies to ensure that your personal data is safe and protected.

Data Subject Rights 

Right to Information

You have the right to be informed about how we process your personal data. We provide you with such information through this Privacy Policy, through service-specific information and by answering questions from you.

Right of Access (register extract)

You have the right to find out whether United Eyes processes your personal data and to receive a copy of your personal data, a so-called register extract. Through the register extract, you will receive information about how we process your personal data.

To request a register extract, you can send an email to support@tryva.com. Please make your request via your registered email address and put ”GDPR extract” in the subject line.

Right to Transfer Personal Data to Another Recipient (Data Portability)

In cases where we process your personal data for the performance of a contract or consent, you have the right to request a copy of the information we have about you in a machine-readable format. This is so that you can move your personal data to another recipient.

Right to Rectification

You have the right to request that we correct incorrect or incomplete information about you, and that we correct your information.

Right to Limitation

If you think that the data we have about you is not correct, that our processing is against the law or that we do not need to process the data for a specific purpose, you have the right to request that we limit our personal data processing. You can also request that we do not process your data while we check this, or while we check whether you have the right to object to certain processing below.

Right to Object to Our Processing of Personal Data

You can object to our processing based on a legitimate interest (Article 6.1 f GDPR) with reference to your personal circumstances. You can also always object to us using your personal data for direct marketing purposes. When you notify us that you no longer wish to receive direct marketing, we will stop sending you marketing messages.

Right to Object to Automated Decisions that Significantly Affect You

You have the right to object to an automated decision made by United Eyes, if the decision involves legal consequences or constitutes a decision that similarly significantly affect you. This may, for example, be relevant in the case of automated decisions on granting credit.

Right to Withdraw Consent

If we process your personal data based on consent, you are always free to withdraw your consent.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you have a complaint about United Eye’s processing of your personal data, you can submit a complaint to the Swedish Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority in Sweden.
